While our flag program has traditionally attracted strong support from local businesses, interest from residents has continued to grow. Many people have asked for a way to sponsor a flag personally, whether to honor a family member who served in the military, recognize a veteran, celebrate a loved one, or simply be part of something meaningful.
The new Lakeside Park display makes that possible and offers an exciting opportunity for everyone to participate. Businesses, families, individuals, civic groups, and organizations can sponsor a flag for $70 per year.
Think of it like sponsoring a brick to help build a community center or dedicating a park bench in memory of a loved one. Every sponsored flag becomes part of a larger display that symbolizes unity, gratitude, and pride in our country.
Sponsors will receive recognition through display signage as well as the Kiwanis website and media promotions.
